I played a badugi tournament yesterday on Poker Stars for the first time in my life.

I have noticed the powerful effect of repeating an amount when spoken out loud in a cash game.

I came 13th out of 2800 players in the $1500 NLHE tournament, event 51 in the WSOP. Very tough 3 days. I was very lucky in the first 2 days, but the 3rd day didn't go well.

I don't think I ever read any articles about this subject, so I can only rely on my own observations.

Tonight i played in another local cash game 1/2 nl, when i got there i had to wait a while to sit down, but after a half an hour i had my seat.

The other night, i was playing over at one of the frequent local 1/2 nl cash games. my original buy in was for $200 but later did add on for another hundred.

I have been thinking a lot about why I am doing so well on satellite tournaments. My first thought was that my play is different from normal tournaments.
