One of the hardest calls I've ever made !

The other night, i was playing over at one of the frequent local 1/2 nl cash games. my original buy in was for $200 but later did add on for another hundred. after becoming a little fustrated with alot of small pocket pairs not amounting to anything for me and alot of really bad hands i came to this hand. This is about 3 hours or maybe 4 hours into the night and it was a full table, with the average stack being around 300 hundred dollars. so i was 2nd under the gun and had

so after under the gun limped i raised to 15 dollars ( which even though how rediculous 7 and a half big blind raise is, it seems to be around average for these games). immediately i get called from the player beside me, a player i play with on a frequent basis a fairly tight player but does like to take advantage of alot of pots when he finds someone a little scared after that i got two more callers. making the pot around 65 dollars. the flop came

A pretty innocent flop, me being first to act, i led out with a 40 dollar bet, and got snap called from the player beside me the one i described earlier, after that the other two players folded and the turn came another 8. after the call on the flop i was thinking that the other player was probally playing pocket tens or nines or something comparable to that, i really couldnt put him on a8 because of his position on the table and my tight table image. that being sad i thought a check would induce a bet of him. i check and he bets 50 dollars, i pretended to think about it for a while and only called because i thought a raise would lose him and i wanted to set up another bet from him on the river. the river came a 7 making the board

I checked it into him again and he instant shoved for $205, I only had about $300 to start the hand and actually had $206 in front of me, so i'm stuck with a decision, i dont put him on much of a bluff to say, the only hand he could bluff with is some kind of busted flush. so i think about it for a little while, and i looked at him and asked him. how are pocket kings? i didnt really get that much information from that, so i waiting a bit longer and said, ill let u take back your all in bet and i take the pot thats there. once i said that to him i looked at his eyes and something in his eyes told me he thought about it, at that moment i was pretty confident i had the best hand, i CALLED, and opened my hand, and he mucked and walked away. later i heard from the player beside him that saw his hand he had

and had a busted straight. so it made me alot of money and ive been thinking bout the hand a lot lately, and how i played it, let me know what u think thanks!
