I have been thinking a lot about why I am doing so well on satellite tournaments. My first thought was that my play is different from normal tournaments. I play tighter and more passively, however this is not the main reason. I think the main reason is because my opponents play differently. They also play tighter and that changes the whole picture.

Yesterday I won another $12,000 package for the WSOP Main Event on Poker Stars. I also won €750 on Unibet Poker playing cash games. This brings my balance for May up to $14,000 in cash games. My best month so far. I also played a satellite for the Unibet Poker Open London event on Unibet Poker and qualified for the event. I only invested poker points in this one. I played a €55 satellite for my 5500 points and qualified for the €440 satellite where I won the package yesterday. It is worth €4400 and I am going to play to London 16-19th July, just after the WSOP in Las Vegas.

For some reason the normal money tournaments are not going so well, I played several $55 tourneys on Poker Stars, but hardly ever cashed and never won anything substantial. Well, maybe next month :) Or on the WSOP :)
