I just love it here :) Especially after the Toronto winter. I love to walk my dog (Flopo :))) in a nice weather. I went to the gim for the first time since we arrived because I had been recovering from a pretty bad flu. I need the physical excersize because I sit in front of my computer playing online poker all day. I am planning to go on Saturday again. Today I have been playing mostly on Everest Poker because they have a new midnight bonus on 27th March from 0 GMT (which was 5pm here) up to $1000 (use MIDNIGHT2 to get the bonus - it is live for 1 day only). I have also been playing a lot on Unibet Poker where I think the level of play is fairly week so I have been making some ok money there. My month is not too good so far, although I only played about 10 days so far because of the live tournaments at the beginning of the month - the Unibet Pokermilliomos tv show and the Unibet Open Budapest. I am at about $2600 mainly because I had one really bad day. My goal for this year is to go up to the $5/$10, €5/€10 tables and play those profitably on a daily basis. Today I play up to €3/€6 where I am comfortable and I can win. Last year I played at $5/$10 several times but not regularly and I was successful on those occasions but at one point I had a losing streak so I dropped back to $2/$4. About 3 days ago gave a shot at the $5/$10 and €5/€10 tables again but I ended up losing appr. $2700. There were no big pots or all-ins, it was just a bunch of small and medium pots plus one where I lost half my buy-in QQ vs KK. So I am back to the €2/€4 and €3/€6 tables now and I will wait for a little bit before I try again. Also I played 3-4 $5/$10 tables plus another 4-5-6 smaller ones. I think I should only start with 1 or 2 bigger tables - probably 1 - when I try it the next time. I haven't had much luck with the Full Tilt Poker WSOP satellites so far. I played 4 $109 satellites, 3 times I went all-in with at least 70% chance and I lost them all (the 4th time I had QQ in dealer position and lost to the KK of the big blind). The three times: KK vs TT for the first, the T hit; AK vs KQ, he called my all-in of 20 big blinds with a third of his stack and hit the Q; AK vs KJ, he made a flush on the K. I don't think I will try any more of these tourneys, I will play the $500 satellite on Full Tilt Poker with the 150 guaranteed seats and I will play other satellites on Poker Stars I think. I checked the WSOP tournaments, there were some changes with the starting chips. Last year it was ridiculous - 60 big blind starting chips for the $1500 events and 40 big blinds for the Ladies Event. We could have played roulette basically... Anyway, they changed the starting chips and now the $1000 tournament starts with 3000 chips and 25/25 blinds (120 big blinds) which is actually a good value for money. The $1500 events start with 4500 chips but 25/50 blinds (300 big blinds). I am excited about the Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza which will start on 2nd April. I will play up to 17 tournaments with $340-$560 buy-ins. I hope I can make some final tables. The starting chips for the $340 tournaments are 12,000 and for the $560 tournaments 15,000 although the levels are only 40-minute long. Still much better. Anyway, I hope it goes well.
