Several books I read from great poker players mentioned the use of watches for randomization and visualization of time in a tournament.Mike Caro uses his to randomize his moves. He decides in his head not to call or fold or raise but -e.g.60% call 20% fold 20% raise - then he looks at his watch and uses the second hand to select from his options randomly. It's position is simply interpreted as a percentage from 0 to 60. E.g. 35 sec = approx. 58 % - so call.
